The people complaining about Eastpoint not being a family movie house must have been at a different place. I take my family often and see other families with children laughing and playing and having a good time. Eastpoint dose have G rated PG rated movies. You should not over generalize just because you had a rainy day experience. Since it is a small movie house maybe they can only afford to show a few many movies at a time and show what they think is going to make money, sounds like good business to me. I guess we can find bad in anything if we try hard enough but why waste energy being selfish and negative? People need their jobs and the folks at Eastpoint always treat me well. Dont listen to the haters you guys rock.
I must say that this theater has no respect for families. They were in the process of changing new owners so there was no way for me to see what was playing. I had to get myself and my daughter together and ride over there in the pouring down rain to see that they didn’t even have any listings displayed outside like the previous owners had. Needless to say we got out of the car and of course got drenched just to go inside and have this lady (I assume she was running the new operations, if that’s what you want to call it) said “sorry thing just aren’t updated yet and we don’t have any movies playing for younger children.” I obviously was angry and had an upset child that was crying and all this lady could say was “sorry I can’t relate I don’t have children”. Well, that lady and that movie theater will never get my business again and I most certainly will be passing the word around to friends, family website etc… on how inconsiderate their employees are and not to waste their time nor money to go somewhere that doesn’t cater to families. Oh and I checked the listing again today and noticed that they don't have any movies for younger kids...I thought that going to the movies was supposed to be a family function...I guess not at Eastpoint..
I think that Regal Eastpoint is a great little movie house and Im glad its still around. The staff is kind the movie theater is clean, what more do you need to enjoy a good movie? Its right on the bus line so for people like me who dont drive its another plus. Thanks,Keith
